Many different yarn types will work with this pattern! Pick a color you like at aweight ranging from worsted to bulky weight. Thicker weights make for larger, chunkier pumpkins. Thinner weights can be chain-plied or otherwise held together in multiples to make an equivalent thicker weight, or can be knit held normally with smaller needles tomake a smaller-sized pumpkin.
Your exact yardage requirements will vary depending on your yarn and needle choice.
